4 acqueforti su Cina applicata. mm 235x170. Fogli: mm 410x295 cad. Ognuna firmata, datata, titolata e numerata a matita. Es. n. 22/25. Da una serie di soggetti del Faust di Goethe in parte palesemente ricavati dalle illustrazioni di Harry Clarke (1889-1931). Scarse sono le notizie su C. Nagel Diek e su questa singolare e peraltro finissima derivazione da un artista che evidentemente doveva amare molto. Una tavola è descritta nel catalogo Faustbilder. Aspekte einer Illustrationsgeschichte, Goethe Museum Düsseldorf, 1990: "Blatt 4 einer nicht näher identifizierten Folge von seitenverkehrten Nachstichen der 1925 als Buchillustrationen in London erschienenen Arbeiten von Harry Clarke".
