Manuscript in 2 volumes in-8° (mm 260x210; 270x195). Pages [2], 108 with 106 splendid pencil drawings, full paged too. Volume II (Scienze naturali. Gli Uccelli): pages 71, [1] with 39 numbered drawings of birds and two other figures on the second title page. Both volumes are written in a beautiful 19th Century dark ink handwriting. All the drawings are protected by tissue paper. Minor browning, otherwise excellent condition. Contemporary bindings, not homogeneous, in half green percaline with marbled paper plates.

Splendid manuscript about natural history, in elegant handwriting and enriched by 147 drawings of animals and birds. On the title page of the first volume, you can read: «Premiato con diploma di 2° grado dalla Società Patria in data 30 novembre 1874».
