Collection of 49 albumines applied on printed albums. On the title-page the blind stamp 'Società Fotografica Toscana / directed by Pietro Semplicini'. A short tear on a page. Original binding with a horse embossed on a side. Good conservation. Size: 260x340 mm.
As the frontispiece states, the album represents the 'most valuable animals of the Tuscan Agrarian Exhibition made at the R.R. Cascine in Florence in June 1857'. In addition to the albumin, which portrays the facade of the palace of R.R. Cascine, the album collects the albumin of cows, bulls, horses, rams, goats, boars, sows, chickens and a camel. The names of the breeds, the owners and the medals received are indicated.
