The photographs, in various sizes, from ca. 120x160 to ca. 180 x 240 (prevalent format) have an identification number on the verso; some also have indications in pencil and/ or typed leaflets explanatory applied externally. Most of them are stored in plastic bags, so they are in very good condition. The photographs depict: the battleship H.M.S. Formidable, the Archduke of Austria Frederick of Habsburg, 2 photos of von Hindenburg, with his staff and a group of nurses, the French general Ferdinand Foch, a delegation of the Red Moon in Berlin, the German military mission in Turkey, German troops, trenches and armaments, bombed buildings, military posts in Verdun, some photos from the infamous Belgian front in Ypern (Ypres), the Suez Canal, the port of London, Russian prisoners, French prisoners and French colonial army, French and English trenches, construction of a 'dum-dum' bullet, hospital trains, etc.
