In-4° (mm 205x160).  [2], XXIV, 84. Frontespizio in rosso e nero con vignetta calcografica raffigurante una veduta di Firenze, capilettera xilografici. Ottimo stato conservativo. Legatura in piena pergamena floscia con titolo manoscritto al dorso. Piccolo timbro di precedente proprietario in principio di volume.



Gamba 2336: «molto pregiata e non comune»; Wellcome IV, 45; Weil cat. 25, n. 156: «The especial interest of this work is Manni's opinions on the invention of spectacles. In the introduction he expresses his pride as Florentine citizen and says that, in addition to all the other discoveries for which she is famous, Florence has also the honour of the invention of spectacles».
